If you have narrowed down your homebuying choice to a few properties, sit down with your Texas REALTOR® and compare your wants and needs. It's also important to look at both long and short-term costs associated with each house. Examples include remodeling, maintenance, and landscaping costs. You’ll also want to consider resale value. Buying a home with good resale potential may be just as important as fitting your current needs, depending on how long you plan to stay in the home.
