Get an agreement

Sherri Strickland | Stanfield REALTORS®, Arlington

After you find a REALTOR® you like, ask the agent to sign a Buyer's Representative Agreement. There are two good reasons for this. This first is that it will shock your agent, and the second is that your REALTOR® will be much more attentive than one who has not signed an exclusive agreement. The agreement asks for your loyalty, but it holds the REALTOR® accountable to much more than that.

Sellers sign agreements with their agents to protect their interests, and so should you.
