Keep copies
If you’ve just sold your house, it’s important to keep copies of all paperwork related to closing and settlement. It’s difficult to count how many pieces of paper exchange hands during a single real estate transaction. But whatever the number, keep copies of them all. It’s likely that you will need this information in the future.
