The Associated General Contractors of America recently reported that construction employment saw gains across several Texas cities between April 2011 and 2012. Among them, the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos metro area had a 6% increase in workers, Fort Worth-Arlington and the San Antonio-New Braunfels metro areas each had a 5% bump, and the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown area increased by 2%.
