Texas has been ranked No. 4 on a list of the top states for economic growth. Although the Lone Star State had one of the largest gross state products in 2011 at $1 trillion, the percentage change from 2010 to 2011 was the fourth-largest at 3.31%, according to an analysis by the Business Journals’ On Numbers.
