March 15, 2023 — Austin
More than 3,000 Texas REALTORS® will convene at the Texas Capitol on March 22, 2023 for the association’s biennial advocacy event, REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol. In Austin, Texas REALTORS® will look to discuss property tax relief, infrastructure improvements, and other Texas REALTORS® Legislative Priorities with local members and community leaders.
“Each legislative session, REALTORS® prove themselves as the state’s leading private property rights advocates by showing up in droves at the Texas Capitol and speaking directly to legislators,” said Marcus Phipps, 2023 Texas REALTORS® Chair. “This year, we’re excited to help shape the conversation as lawmakers make property tax reform a top priority.”
This year, the association will welcome representatives and leaders from the National Association of REALTORS® as part of NAR’s Riding With the Brand nationwide bus tour. NAR is using the opportunity to better engage REALTORS® and to emphasize the importance of their collective voice in improving market conditions for U.S. consumers and property owners. Real estate in Texas continues to be in strong demand following two years of unprecedented market activity. REALTORS® help Texans navigate these changing conditions so that they may continue to pursue the American dream of home ownership
With more than 150,000 members, Texas REALTORS® is the state’s largest professional association; nationally, there are more than 1.5 million REALTORS®.
