• 5 years at Volker Raglan & Brackin Law Firm working directly for the DA, Judge & was an assistant court reporter
Real Estate Career
• Acquired her real estate license in 1978 (43 years in the business)
• Obtained broker’s license in 1981
• Early in her career she achieved the level of Top 100 in REMAX Texas
• Served on the Collin County Women’s Council of Realtors
• Served as the Montage County Board of Realtors TREPAC Chair for 12 years
• Serves on the GDWCAR Board of Directors since 2020
• Serves on the Government Affairs Committee of GDWCAR
• Serves on the TREPAC Committee of GDWCAR
• Serves on the Education Committee of GDWCAR
• Member of 2022 TAR Business Issues Committee
• Member of 2022 NAR Professional Standards Committee
• Will be inducted into the TREPAC/RPAC Hall of Fame in May of 2022
• Member of the RPAC President’s Circle
• 2021 Realtor of the Year of Greater Denton Wise County Association of Realtors
Community Service
• Served as Youth Director of Carter Lake Baptist Church for 2 years
• Was the pianist for Carter Lake Baptist Church for many years
• Ran a community gift wrap barn in Bowie, TX for Christmas to raise money for needy families for 15 years – she provided supplies & advertising, worked hands on, coordinated volunteers
• Served as Bowie Chamber of Commerce Tourism Chair a year
Personal
• Was widowed in 2019 after being married for 35 years to Ed Ledbetter
• Has one daughter, Michelle Albanese, who is also a Realtor
• Has one son, Paul McPherson, who works at Dell Technologies
• In her down time, she enjoys working on her plants and flowers and socializing with friends and family.
• She loves her children and spending time on her ranch. She loves nature and God’s creation.
• She loves her job and aspires to be a role model to others.
