About Me

I grew up in a military family, moving almost every two years of my life. My father retired and brought us to Texas, where we settled in 1985. I married and raised my family in the military as well and moved from place to place and ended up getting a duty station in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

I have experienced many job changes and relocated to new career opportunities and learned to adapt to the changes involved in being a military wife and daughter. Moving from place to place became an art. Packing up and reinventing your life can be very hard; preparing for those changes was constant. Collection of the new area’s information to re-establish all new contacts to get life on track again for my family was a constant challenge.

Having to pick up and leave family and loved ones is a real struggle and can be very stressful. I recognized all the families coming and going around me; and I realized that my experiences could indeed assist them in making their transition smoother. It’s not about “selling” me or what I offer; it’s about listening to their wants and dreams, and assisting them to meet their goals and destination.

I joined the real estate profession in 2005 and started helping military personnel, families and friends take on the challenges of purchasing and selling homes and relocating to new locations. I have received many awards throughout my career and built my way up to Top Producer for three years in a row in our office.

Many qualities and skills go into being an excellent real estate professional; integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiating skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work. Actions speak louder than words.

My hobbies include horse riding, raising miniature horses, cart driving horses and dabbling in trick training with them. I raised AKC Teacup Yorkies for several years along with AKC Boxers; I have a huge heart for animals and at several points in my life have been called Elly May(LOL). In my spare time I enjoy creating holiday crafts and gifts for my family and friends.

I also enjoy locating and restoring classic American and European cars. I love going to car shows and seeing beautiful cars restored to their original conditions.

Since relocating to Texomaland, I enjoy taking time with my family and friends at Lake Texoma boating, fishing, and just enjoying the Texas lifestyle at the lake.
