Returning to Dallas he worked in the insurance industry for several years. In 1998 he took on a new career in the telecommunication arena Lucent\Avaya Inc, working in several roles over 16 years. In 2014 Tommy left Avaya to becomes a business owner, by purchasing a 7 Eleven Franchise in Carrollton, TX. Opportunity knocked on Tommy’s door in 2018, thus he sold the 7 Eleven Franchise and became a Realtor.

Tommy has been a Frisco resident since 2004. Serviced on Frisco ISD District Improvement Team in 2010-2011. Currently a Frisco ISD Substitute teach and Community Champion for Business Incubator program at Centennial HS. Son Chris graduated from Centennial HS in 2011.
