My name is Jeff Kappel. I have lived in North Texas for over 27 years and have owned and operated a successful construction business since 1995 (www.oakpointwoodworks.com). I have a unique understanding of this market because I have seen it grow from farmland into the residential neighborhoods we have today. In fact, I have had a hand in building some of the homes myself.
In addition to construction, my wife Julia and I have owned rental properties in the past but tired of the issues with tenants (I think we experienced every issue with tenants). We also were very successful with fix and flips until the market made it difficult to add value while keeping the resale price affordable for our buyers.
