Joyce E. Tate, REALTORS has been a licensed Realtor since 1973. She gained a lot of knowledge on how to prepare HUD and VA appraisals from working five with a broker who specialized in Appraisals. In 1992 Ms. Tate was the First Black Woman in Texas to obtain an ERA Real Estate Franchise.
Her business mentor, Mr. Sakowitz encouraged her to become an Independent Broker and always treat her clients like family. Ms. Tate is proud to brag about serving the 2nd and 3rd generations of buyers and sellers mainly because of the fact that JET Realtors stands for integrity, honesty, and the way we take care of all our clients with the utmost respect, regardless of race, creed.

Ms. Tate is a former Magnet School Guidance Counselor as well as served as a Red Cross Youth Sponsor for over 35+ years. She is best known for forming Houston ISD’s first After-School program called the “Charm Club” in 1969. Ms.Tate still devotes her free time to working with the youth and senior citizens in the community.
