Nena began her real estate career as a teenager, helping paint her family’s rental properties during summer “vacations”. She has a varied real estate background, working in development, property management, leasing, asset management & sales for almost 40 years. Since 1992 she has focused on residential sales, working with both buyers & sellers. Nena has earned her Accredited Luxury Home Specialist Designation, is an accredited Senior Real Estate Specialist and has obtained a GRI (Graduate, REALTOR Institute) designation. Since joining Nix Realty Company, Nena has assisted Buyers and Sellers in over $30 million dollars of real estate transactions.
About Me
Born in Wurzburg, Germany, her family was transferred to San Antonio when she was 1 year old. She’s loved San Antonio ever since. Nena became fluent in Spanish while serving as an exchange student in Asunción, Paraguay. She majored in business at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Nena is married to Kevin King. They have two adult sons, Jeff (married to Liz) & James (still single). In her spare time, she loves to travel, attend plays, cook and enjoys history & music. She is active at St. David’s Episcopal Church & has traveled multiple times to Honduras and Guatemala to serve on a Public Health Mission Team.
