About Me

Native Texan here! Megan has lived her whole life within about a 60-mile radius of the Greater Austin Area. Shortly after graduating college at Texas State University, she decided to pursue her real estate career, with some motivation from her dad, who has since retired from his successful surveying business in Milam County.

Megan’s 18+ years of real estate has proven valuable as the transactional experiences and knowledge gained has driven her to provide the optimal experience for her clients. She’s ridden the waves of numerous market cycles, where she experienced different challenges and opportunities, and navigated them all while gaining invaluable insight. She started in positive market in 2006, weathered the 2009 Great Recession, conquered the COVID cycle and is currently helping buyers navigate the higher interest rates. Megan’s experience ensures she can anticipate trends, adapt strategies, and deliver results that she’s proud of. Her focus is primarily on single family residences, condos and townhomes including new construction and resale options. Megan also has expertise in sensitive transactions, those prompted by life changing events involving death and divorce. In recent years, she’s had opportunities to assist in some Farm & Ranch transactions and is currently focused on expanding into those property types. She is highly knowledgeable in the areas including North Austin and all adjacent northern suburbs. Her expertise in serving buyers and sellers is equally balanced and she enjoys assisting both.

Most of her business is generated by referrals from happy clients and friends. Megan develops close relationships with those she serves and strives to exceed expectations every time. The end goal of a transaction is to have successfully delivered a positive experience and to have gained a friend and raving fan. Megan firmly believes in consistently being her genuine, authentic self by demonstrating trustworthiness, professionalism, compassion, setting realistic expectations, and ensuring a pleasant transaction experience every time.

Following each buyer or seller closing, a donation is made in her client’s name(s) to three different charity partners. One is to a Williamson County emergency shelter that provides services to children and youth in the foster care system. The second is Take Me Home – an animal rescue transport service, moving animals out of high kill shelters into other states where people are waiting to adopt. Megan’s deep love for animals, especially abused and neglected ones is the reason she continues to support and act as an advocate for this charity. Additionally, RE/MAX has been a long-time partner of Children’s Miracle Network, who is a local supporter of Dell Children’s Hospital.

At home, Megan enjoys being a mom and wife. Her son, Bowen, loves all sports! Whether it’s baseball, soccer, basketball or something else, they are always on a field. As a family, they love to attend sporting events, hang out poolside, enjoy the lake and go on new adventures. Bowen began a Spanish emersion program around the age one and currently attends an elementary dual language program. They currently have 3 dogs – Nala, Jax and Pumpkin and occasionally, a friendly foster dog will find themselves in their comfortable care for short stays. Her husband Michael has years of experience in the home building profession. Megan will often converse with Michael about new home building questions and views that as an asset to her business. While Megan believes that family always comes first, it’s a deep passion of hers to ensure that clients are always cared for, even when she is not available. To ensure that she never misses her son’s sporting or school events and can accommodate her client’s needs, she has colleagues ready and available to serve when she is involved with family activities. Megan feels incredibly blessed to have a career that gives her the ability to equally balance professional and family time.
