About Me

 I’m an established and successful professional musician in Austin Texas and have been for thirty years, so I know Austin well.  At one point, when I was looking for housing for myself and my doggies, I saw a necessity for real estate agents who were willing to work hard to get hard working people into great homes.   So I went through the courses and testing and added Realtor®, and then GRI (The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) followed by SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) to my resume so I could confidently fill that need.  And because for most of my life I’ve lived and played and enjoyed all things South Austin,  I  joined Star Tex Real Estate located in Buda Texas (South Austin) and started my Get SoMe Austin (South Menchaca) buzzletter.  The  buzzletter is so much fun to write (and research!) and it focuses on all the wonderful things to do, eat, see, and listen to in the south Menchaca and south Austin area as well as keeping you up to date on neighborhoods, values, and what’s new in the market.   This area can be a great choice if you want to stay close to the vibe and heart of downtown Austin, but still want a slower-paced neighborhood feel.  The best part – there are still affordable options here that I’d love to share with you.
