About Me

Kirk Moody has a love and passion for farming, ranching and the outdoors that began at a very young age. Having hunted in the Panhandle, West Texas, and South Texas, Kirk has seen many of the diverse types of geography that Texas has to offer and appreciates the different eco-regions that make the state of Texas so unique. No stranger to hard work and long days, having spent years on their family’s ranch in Medina County and many other ranches throughout south Texas, Kirk has taken part in and observed many different ranching operations. This same hard work and determination is what motivated him through school, graduating from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Kirk not only understands what to look for in a property and what it takes to manage it, but he also understands the business behind it, which is a valuable resource that he brings to the West & Swope team. What drives Kirk the most, is serving others. His family was heavily involved in the restaurant business throughout Texas. Customer satisfaction and putting others first is something that was ingrained in him from generational values that were passed down by his grandfather and dad. In his free time, you can find him fishing, hunting, or guiding throughout Texas. Kirk is a member of the Texas Wildlife Association, Ducks Unlimited and the San Antonio Board of Realtors. His background, paired with experience, ability to fluently speak Spanish, and his passion for serving others will allow him to build life-long relationships throughout the farm and ranch real estate industry.
