About Me

Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Austin, Texas- Sonia Roshini Stefánsson has witnessed Austin’s growth firsthand from a college town to bustling cosmopolitan city. She has been an active member of the Austin community since she moved here when she was eight years old. Sonia graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and soon after, moved to Reykjavík, Iceland with her husband Stefán. They moved back to Austin to pursue opportunities here and start a family. Sonia has worked as a director of an art gallery in downtown Austin, Dell Technologies in the enterprise sector, business manager in international sales/marketing for educational publishers, and an assistant to a high-end interior design firm in Austin. As both a seller and buyer, Sonia has sold two homes and purchased three and experienced the growth and demands of the Austin market. She brings her personal experience as a buyer and seller to the real estate process, understanding the needs of her client as a first-time homeowner, purchasing to fit the needs of a growing family, and as empty nesters. Sonia and Stefán reside in Cedar Park and are parents to Sigurjón Thór, a recent Baylor University graduate, and Alexía Roshini, a recent Vista Ridge High School graduate, and soon-to-be incoming Freshman at Texas State University. Sonia enjoys volunteering at Vista Ridge HS and other local organizations, as well as travel, hiking, and baking. Sonia and Stefán reside in Cedar Park and are parents to Sigurjón Thór, Baylor University graduate, and Alexía Roshini, Vista Ridge High School graduate, and student at Texas State University
