Transact

Background

Transact is the latest transaction management system from Lone Wolf Technologies, the parent company of zipForm and TransactionDesk.

It is a client-focused transaction management system. Transact attaches every document and detail to your client, not the property. This creates a single, adaptable workspace that moves with your client from one offer to the next, reducing duplication and keeping deals on track.

The agent version of Transact, along with zipForm, will remain a member benefit of Texas REALTORS®.

All zipForm and TransactionDesk users logging into their account will encounter a one-time pop-up window similar to this one:

Transact Popup

If you want to stay in zipForm/TransactionDesk and not try Transact, you can exit out of the pop-up window by clicking the “X” icon in the top-right corner and proceed without interruption in your zipForm/TransactionDesk account.

How to start Transact:

  1. Log into your zipForm/TransactionDesk account.
  2. In the pop-up window, click “Create New Transaction” button
  3. On your first use of Transact, you will be asked to create a Lone Wolf account. This is a one-time process linking your legacy zipForm/TransactionDesk account to your Transact account and will give you the ability to navigate back and forth between them. (The login process will revert back to single sign-on after completing this step.)
  4. Once your Lone Wolf account is created, you will be all set! You will have access to the Transact dashboard and be able to toggle between it and your zipForm/TransactionDesk account if you wish to work in your other transaction management system.

If you wish to try Transact at a later date, you can find walkthrough videos for zipForm users and TransactionDesk users on getting started.

If you have any issues with zipForm, TransactionDesk, or Transact, reach out to Lone Wolf’s support team 24/7, 365 days of the year. You can reach support at support@lonewolf.com, message the in-app chat, call 866-279-9653,or visit their community support page.

  • Transact FAQs Why is Texas REALTORS® launching an alternative to zipForm/Transaction Desk? Texas REALTORS® is working with Lone Wolf Technologies — the owners of zipForm, TransactionsDesk, and Authentisign — to bring REALTORS® new capabilities in transaction management. The new system, called Transact, allows multiple offers and properties to stay connected to the client. In addition, Transact includes increased collaboration features and automatic form updates.
  • Are there plans to terminate zipForm? There are no current plans to discontinue offering zipForm. Texas REALTORS® is working with zipForm provider, Lone Wolf, to ensure that functionality in the Transact system meets member needs. For TransactionDesk users, you need to check with your local association or MLS about their plans to continue offering TransactionDesk as a subscription benefit. TransactionDesk Broker Edition is not part of your Texas REALTORS® member benefit.
  • Can I start using Transact now? Members are welcome to use Transact. However, the soft launch phase of Transact for Texas REALTORS® is intended to be a testing phase. During the initial soft launch, a group of users will be testing the Transact product to identify any product improvements that will be necessary. Remember, transactions that were entered in zipForm must be completed in zipForm. Transactions entered in Transact must be completed in Transact.
  • If I currently use zipForm or TransactionDesk as a member benefit, will I still have access to all the same features in Lone Wolf Transact? Yes. You will continue to have uninterrupted access to zipForm or TransactionDesk, and you can keep working as usual while Transact is introduced. ZipForm and Transact will be running in parallel for at least a year. If you are a member of NTREIS, Houston Association of REALTORS®, or Unlock MLS (Austin Board of REALTORS®) and currently use TransactionDesk, you will be grandfathered into the Lone Wolf Transact Broker Member Benefit edition. However, you need to check with your local association or MLS about their plans to continue offering TransactionDesk as a subscription benefit. TransactionDesk Broker Edition is not part of your Texas REALTORS® member benefit.
  • How do I access Transact? Log into your zipForm or Transaction Desk account. While in zipForm or TransactionDesk, you will see a banner at the top that reads “Try the next evolution of zipForm/TrasactionDesk. Create transactions with Lone Wolf Transact. Get Started.” Click on this banner to create a new Lone Wolf Transact account. You can continue accessing zipForm, TransactionDesk, and Transact (once you have created a Lone Wolf Account) through your existing single sign-on (SSO). There’s no need to change your login process or workflow to use the transaction management system.
  • Why am I required to set up a new account for Transact? Creating a Lone Wolf Account links your legacy zipForm/TransactionDesk account to your new Transact account and gives you the ability to navigate back and forth between them all.
  • Where can I find training on Transact? A variety of live trainings will be offered throughout the year. You can sign up for live trainings or access recorded trainings. You can also visit Lone Wolf’s Transact video library for helpful videos on how to use Transact.
  • How can I get support with zipForm, Transact, or TransactionDesk? Transact offers support 24/7, 365 days of the year. You can reach support at support@lonewolf.com, message the in-app chat, call 866-279-9653,or visit their community support page.
  • Why should I use Transact instead of zipForm or TransactionDesk? Transact includes modern capabilities built for today’s transaction realities, including: – Client-based transactions, so multiple offers and properties stay connected – Lost deal flexibility, allowing you to remove a property and reuse the transaction for a new offer – Share groups to collaborate with assistants, agents, or brokers in one shared transaction – Side-by-side form editing, where updates to parties or clauses automatically update the form – Automatic form updates, so you always start with the most current forms These features reduce rework, prevent errors, and save time — especially in competitive markets. The streamlined system reduces redundancy and saves you time. Agents can create their own templates and view transactions in a card view for easier management.
  • Will I lose my contacts, templates, and clauses? The contacts and templates in your member zipForm and TransactionDesk accounts will be automatically imported into Transact. Clauses will not be a part of this process, but you will be able to create clauses in Transact.
  • Will I have access to historical files? If a member retains their zipForm or TransactionDesk account, they will have access to historical files that were created in zipForm and TransactionDesk throughout the required document retention period. Nothing is deleted or lost when you begin using Transact. Users who cancel TransactionDesk or zipForm may experience disruptions in functionality and historical file visibility.
  • Will I lose my existing transactions if I start using Transact? No. Your historical transactions and records from zipForm and TransactionDesk remain available for reference and record-keeping. Nothing is deleted or lost when you begin using Transact.
  • Does Transact support digital signatures? As a member of Texas REALTORS®, you will continue to have access to digital signatures with Authentisign as part of your member benefit. This secure, easy-to-use signature tool allows your clients to sign documents quickly and safely. Docusign, however, does not currently work in Transact. To our knowledge there are no plans to integrate Docusign into the Transact system.
  • What integrations/features exist between Transact and the broker TransactionDesk product? The agent version of Transact is included with your Texas REALTORS® membership. Broker-level transaction management products are not included with your membership in Texas REALTORS®. Some local associations offer broker-level transaction management services, however, so be sure to check with your local association. Broker-level products are available through Lone Wolf for an additional fee. Contact sales@lwolf.com for more information.
  • Is a broker version of zipForm or Transact included with membership in Texas REALTORS®®? No. One of the many benefits included with your membership in Texas REALTORS® is an agent version of zipForm. Moving forward, each REALTOR® member will also include the agent edition of Transact. Some local associations may offer broker-level services, so be sure to check with your local association. Broker-level editions for office oversight, automated file submissions, and transaction transfer are available through Lone Wolf for an additional fee by contacting sales@lwolf.com or visiting their website.
  • What would Transact or zipForm cost if I purchased it independently? If purchased independently, the direct to agent price for zipForm/Transact with AuthentiSign is $299 per year.
  • Can I collaborate with other agents or staff in Transact? Yes. With Share Groups, you can securely share transactions with other Transact users, making it easier to collaborate with teammates, assistants, or brokers without duplicating work.
  • Can brokers still request custom brokerage forms? Yes. Brokers can continue submitting customer broker forms requests as usual. Simply send an email to: formspredesign@lwolf.com.
  • How does Transact help with broker compliance? Transact includes a guided compliance workflow that helps ensure required steps and documentation are completed correctly before submission. This reduces back-and-forth, minimizes errors, and helps brokers maintain consistent processes across all transactions.
  • How does a broker get Lone Wolf Transact? Contact Lone Wolf at sales@lwolf.com
  • Can agents complete a classic (zipForm) transaction in Transact and vice versa? No. A transaction started in zipForm cannot be completed in Transact or vice versa.
  • Can Brokers still brand forms with their logos? Yes! Transact can brand real estate forms with your company logo as it did in the legacy system. Continue to submit your logo requests like you always have! We will also be migrating over all existing company logos into the new experience.
  • Are ‘train the trainers’ sessions available? Absolutely. Our AoR/MLS representatives can provide you the channel you need to be trained as a trainer so you can train your own agent base.
  • What about Doc Hosting customers? Doc hosting still continue to live in TransactionDesk for the time being. The rollout will not affect the ability for supplement documents to be managed in the MLS. We do plan on moving this functionality into Transact.
